Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us without seeing your GP first. If we feel you need medical investigation or a referral elsewhere, we will tell you and help arrange it.

What happens at my first appointment?

We listen to your story, ask about your general health and goals, and carry out a thorough physical examination. You will leave with a clear explanation of what is going on, a plan, and usually treatment and exercises on the day.

What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing that lets us see and move the area being treated. Shorts are helpful for knee, hip and ankle problems. For running assessments, please bring your usual running kit and trainers, plus an old pair of running trainers if you have one, to help us establish your foot strike.

Can I use my health insurance?

Many patients claim through private medical insurance. Please check with your insurer before your first visit, get an authorisation code if they need one, and let us know when you book.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and your goals. Many people notice a difference within two to four sessions. We will give you an honest estimate at your first appointment and always focus on helping you manage independently.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you cannot make your appointment, so we can offer the slot to someone else. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are subject to a standard charge of 50% of the appointment fee.

Ready to get moving again?

Book online in under a minute, or call us and we will help you choose the right appointment.
